Bringing hope: Our latest massive food delivery day
TSH Team
Last weekend, the Tijuana Sin Hambre Binational Foundation held one of the largest food delivery days of the year in the eastern part of the city. Thanks to the joint effort of more than 100 volunteers and the support of our donors, we managed to distribute more than 500 complete pantries to vulnerable families.
The day began very early at our collection center, where volunteers organized the packages that included non-perishable food, fresh products, personal hygiene items, and drinking water. Each pantry was put together with the intention of covering the basic nutritional needs of a family of four for at least a week.
Direct impact on the community
Upon arriving at the beneficiary neighborhoods, we were greeted with smiles and words of gratitude. 'This help means a lot to us, especially in these difficult times,' commented María, a mother of three and resident of the area. Stories like María's remind us why we do what we do and motivate us to keep going.
In addition to the food delivery, we set up basic medical care modules and free haircuts, providing comprehensive support to the community. Children also enjoyed recreational activities and educational workshops on nutrition and hygiene.
A special thanks
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the local companies that donated products, to the citizens who contributed their grain of sand, and, of course, to our incredible team of volunteers. Without your dedication and commitment, this event would not have been possible.
The fight against hunger is a continuous effort, and every action counts. We invite you to join our cause, whether as a volunteer, donor, or by sharing our message. Together, we can build a future where no family in Tijuana goes to sleep hungry.
